One of the many presents on the samuri junior christmas list is some DC shoes. Now obviously not being down with the kids I have no idea what style he requires and without alerting him to the impending surprise I'm going to ask you to help.

Now he's actually going to use these for skateboarding rather than looking cool for girls so that might have some bearing on it. Any actual real life experiences in this area would be much appreciated.

Get thee to TK Maxx, they always have a few styles of DC shoes in, cheaper than silly.

If hes looking for shoes for actual skating, not just getting in with the ladies then your best bet would be to head to a proper skate shop where they can advise fully on what is best to get.
