If you have a 130mm travel bike fitted with a 200mm i2i shock with a 57mm stroke and you then fitted a 200mm i2i shock with a 50mm stroke, what would be the consequences/results?

Am I right in thinking slightly less travel with slacker angles?

So the other way round if you went from a 50mm to a 57mm stroke you'd gain travel, the amount being dependant on the stroke/suspension ratio thingy?

If you went the other way, you would have to make sure your frame could take the extra travel. ie. wheel or seat/chainstays don't clash with another part of your frame through over travel.

you'd gain travel but the wheel/rocker/links would all be closer to the saddle/frame/other gubbins so you may break stuff
