    Does anybody have any advice on shipping a bike to france? Are there any preferable shipping methods. I need to get a couple of bike to the pyrenees.

    Box it carefully, measure the box. Depending on time air or road.
    Used these guys for shipping to Oz air freight https://www.transglobalexpress.co.uk/
    It’s got an online calculator, you can play with box dimensions to get it down to the best price. Air freight a Bike box (or slightly smaller) is about 32kg in volumetric weight so you can generally pack a bit more.

    Less than 120 quid hopefully .

    You’ll be lucky to get under £120. I’ve shipped a few bikes out over the last few years and it’s become extortionate. Only reasonable prices I’ve had have been using shiply or similar.

    It’s all about the packing. You are charged for Volumetric weight, a tight bike box comes up as 32kg shipping charge. I did 6/7 of these to Oz for about £200 each. Play with the dimensions a little and see if the price suddenly drops an increment (have a look at the max dimensions of the parcel before extra charges – i trimmed the top of some of mine a little to make them fit)
