  • Shimano Zee ( Saint ) caliper rebuild with SLX parts?

    Need to rebuild a Shimano Zee caliper, one of the bigger pistons has chipped and oil is leaking.

    Warranty is out, Shimano does not sell spare pistons and seals, so I either buy a new Zee caliper or get the SLX for 1\3 of the price and use it for spares, since it uses the a 22mm oversize ceramic piston, same size as the Zee.

    Am I wrong about piston compatibility?

    Has anybody tried this with either the Zee or the Saint?
