    My left XTR trail pedal started to squeak so I decided to take it apart and give it a grease only to find that the nut to the right of the second 3 in the diagram has been spilt in to 3 parts.

    Has anyone heard of this happening before? I have sent the pedals back to hopefully get a warranty replacement.
