    Any idea if a new/old 9 speed Ultegra triple LH shifter (6603) would work in place of a 9 speed 4503 Tiagra one?? Presume it does (cosmetics aside) but you never know.

    Pretty sure that it will. It’s like for like in terms of speeds, just an upgrade.

    Well yeah, and I suppose it’s before there was the “ooh, different pull ratios etc etc” changes too.
