   I managed to break the hanger bolt on my Shadow mech, it kinda split the bolt shaft from the head/washer.

   I looked on CRC, and found them, but out of stock.

   No problem I thought as I needed some other bits, I'll get/order one from my LBS.

   Turns out that Madison don't list, nor sell them separately!

   So my mech is buggered - anyone got a spare...

   I don't suppose either of those are a medium (GS) cage rear mech are they...?
   I'm after a medium cage to swap for my long...

   I think you will find the bolt is a normal 10mm x 1mm pitch bolt.

   PaulD - Agree, but the bolt is designed to break - and currently I've had to send my Ti frame for a new drop-out because the (different) mech didn't break and it took out the integral hanger...

   Does piss me off though, that someone has decided its a non-servicable part!

   Thanks for the update on the new Shadow units having breakaway bolts.
   I fitted an SRP alloy bolt to an RD-M750 and used it for years on a steel frame with non-replacable dropouts.
   When I came to fit the bolt to a newer RD-M760, it simply would not fit as the tolerances had changed.
   You could use a std 10mm bolt on a frame with a replacable drop-out in the future, so do not bin the mech.
