Does anyone know if you can buy them Individually?

I want to run a tripple on the front of my Vaya, and currently have a double, so can I just get a L/H Shifter?

Or do I have to buy a pair? and hopefully sell the new R/H and 6month old L/H one as a pair.. 😐

How much of the double specific stuff do you have right now? I’ve got 5700 level triple everything (shifter, derailleur, crankset) on my road bike, and I would love to swap it for a double, so long as it’s black and not silver.

    Everything…

Only trouble is, the chainset is silver.. 😐

The rest of it is black.

I have a new/unused black R600 chainset if it helps? 172.5mm cranks IIRC.

I’d check for certain that what you have is 5701 and not 5703 already – some manufacturers put 5703 on doubles – they wont go any further than the limit screw on the mech allows, so work fine, and allows them to buy & use the same shifter across doubles & triples.

If you do indeed have a double specific LH STI, you’re probably best off going new from Rose for a pair and selling on the RH lever, http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/article/shimano-105-sti-combined-brakeshift-lever-st-5703/aid:4441

Otherwise look second hand or people splitting pairs on ebay…
