Hi All

So replacing my rear formula 180mm brake on a spicy 2012 with Shimano. The existing rear formula currently has a post to post mount.

I can’t seem to find the equivalent shimano post to post rear mount.

So can i use the existing formula rear one? or do i need to get a front post to post in 180mm and use on rear?

They should be the same as post to post is pretty standard.

I’ve never had an issue using different ones in the past, maybe had to use a small washer as a spacer to move the brake out a little further but that’s about it.

I recently changed my rear PM-PM from avid 185 to shim xt 180. Its the xtr adaptor labeled up as a front one, but worked perfectly fine on the rear.
