  • Shimano m647 pedals, any different to the M424?

    Hi

I have used the M424 on my xc bike for a couple of months without any issue. I have since started using them on my downhill bike and have been struggling with them. I am finding that they clog with mud very easily, and need cleaning very well in order to clip in well, with that loud click. I have been looking at the m647’s, do they work better and clog less than the M424’s? I know they are heavier, but that is not really a concern.

    Many Thanks

    Henry

Shouldn’t think m647 has any better declogability than m424.

    Flat pedals do, however.
