I have an XT 10 speed M770 shifter and I want to attach it to my new SLX brakes using iSpec mounts. Can this be done or are they XT to XT compatible only?

Bum! It looks like I'd need M780, not the M770 I have.
Anyone know if the M780 will mount to SLX brakes?

Should do the clamp bands on the SLX look exactly the same as XT/XTR so should be cross compatible. XT shifters worked on XTR brakes for me.
