  • Shimano discs & hope bolts – ok together?

    Just putting together a new brake setup, are the two together gonna be ok? Ny shimano bolts have a crescent 'washer', the hopes none at all. Cant really see why it would be a problem but you never know

    Just a warning, the older hex key Hope bolts were quite short, and with the countersunk holes on Shimano hubs they only engage a few threads and are easy to strip if you're remotely ham-fisted.
