Has anyone shortened the hoses on a set of these brakes? How easy/difficult is it and did you find a video to help?
Can someone point me int the right direction please?
    Cheers, Chris

    Yep and dead easy 😀

The hose cut easily with a sharp Stanley knife, slip on a new olive, clamp the hose using the yellow plastic blocks about 30mm below the cut end and push the insert to locate it in the hose, then either tap it or push it against a solid object gently to push it fully down.

Reconnect the hose with olive and nut into the master cylinder at the lever and do up the nut. Fluid loss for me was minimal as I kept the hose upright all the time. Once all done up and pads put in, the lever felt great, no spongey-ness or pumping up with repeated pulls on the lever, so haven’t worried about bleeding. 😀

They needed a quick bleed in my case, but that’s my cack-handedness, not any reflection on how easy/difficult it is.

As long as you have the yellow plastic block(S) and a vice/little clamp of some kind, it’s quite straightfoward.
