I have a set of slx m665 brakes, they have served me well but the rear caliper is now sticky however many times i unblock and re oil/bleed it. So as one of my riding buddies recently went deore was wondering if a 615 or 596 caliper woul work with my lever, or where i could get a cheap slx replacement from, have found a german site doing a m675 caliper cheapish, will that work?
    cheers

I think you should be fine in matching your lever with said calliper.

I think a lot of the new Shimano brake levers will work with their newer range of callipers. But don’t quote me on it.

Hopefully someone has experience of this and will chime in for you..

I think it should be fine, my brother uses a 596 caliper with the new XT lever (brm 785), previous to that he was running the 785 lever with a 525 caliper.
