    Is there a discernable way of checking the chainline (50mm non-boost, 53mm boost) on a Shimano SLX 1×11 chainset? The only code printed on the chainset is FC-M7000-11. Does the boost frame compatible version have a different code?

    I’m pretty sure it has a letter B after the model number. It’s probably only the “spider” that’s different though so maybe have a look on that for some identifier.

    Look for a B suffix on the back of the DS crank:
