Anyone tried them yet? Any good?

Looking to replace a venerable pair of MP66s bought off here about 5 or 6 years back. I want something similar – ideally lace up, with a lace cover, minimal (no!) mesh. OK to walk in, but still a good pedalling platform. Pretty solid build for shrugging off rock impacts. Ideally rather quicker to dry than the ’66s…

Can’t say I’m a fan of the aesthetics from the pics I’ve seen of the AM9s, but the spec is right, so could be persuaded.

    Thanks!

Not AM9’s but been using the cheaper AM5’s since December, nice solid pair of shoes.
Also have a pair of Shimano M200’s which are a cracking set of shoes, have you considered those?

Did have a look at the M200s, but a) the toe bit is mesh, b) I’m not a great fan of ratchets on MTB shoes – seen a few too many people break them off on rocky stuff.
