A riding buddy of mine mentioned Sherwood Pines has had some trail improvements recently. Anybody have an idea of what’s changed? Is it just the Kitchener trail? Is drainage any better? Ever the optimist I know!

He might be talking about the switchback section on kitchener… Couple of other minor changes making the route slightly less weather prone…

The DH runs are no longer on the kitchener route, but they are very close so you can take a detour if you like.

    Sherwood ‘is what it is’…

Ride it as fast as you can and secure your reward…..

Dunt get that boggy (other than tight wooded sections)

Ive never notice the drainage as a problem to be honest. Although it is one of the areas that has bee improved… Infact the new drainage channel are so big I mistook one for the trail itself as the sun was bright.

The surface has been improved in many places, a few extra features (rollers, berms, new section bypassing the bike park which is quite good.

Running fast at the moment too, whzzed round in exactly 45 minutes last week.
