Free food and real ale(not free) helped matters on a really good day out on the bike slushy icy conditions up Garburn with a really sketchy descent but fun!
Mr Palmer came across very well had that look in his eye as a person not to mess with expertly hosted by Ed Oxley very funny gig ! drying gear out now ready for the trails tomorrow!

75 riders coming down an icy Garbon was a spectacle to behold, to see Palmer coming down the rocks buttery smooth was the icing on the cake. Genuine top bloke complete with icy fearless 100 yard stare of a winner, Intense! 🙂

How steep does the head angle on that M1 look compared to today’s bikes?

& what helmet is napalm wearing in. That pic?

Not sure Rocketdog – I’ll have a look in the other pics and see if I’ve got a clearer shot.

Shaun Palmer came across as a very talented but normal guy. Easy to talk to,willing to talk about anything. Mr Oxley on the other hand should have read up on his stuff before he started. I was squirming in my seat as he asked some of the questions.
Palmer was brilliant both on bike and off, I would like to wish him the best of luck in his new “career”. He was more than willing to talk about the “misadventures” in his life. I only wish we could`ve stopped longer to chat to him. TOP BLOKE!
    He was wearing “FLY” kit
