I am desperate to get my hands on a Shangri La 5 tent! As far as I understand GoLite are almost refusing to sell them to UK suppiers anymore, and even the world of google can’t track one down for me!

One supplier has offered me an ex showroom, Shangri La 5 tent, but doesn’t have an inner nest, so if you have a nest or know of anybody/anywhere that does, or any alternatives!

I have a lot of time for GoLite products and am always recommending the Hex 3 (Shangri La 3) when the needs fit it.

Seems you can order direct from the US (seems cheap too).

Also, some people seem to have bought a tent from backpackinglight.co.uk which is similar:

I was going to suggest that, then I saw that they had a 10-12 week leadtime. It’s a shame.

He’s a great resource and very friendly! He used to stock the Shangri La (I have a Den2 from golite bought from Bob). He doesnt stock them any more, but you may find the Mega Horn 2 works for you?
