I’ll be honest, I preferred the lines of the 26″ rocket more (especially in the small size). However its obviously what they say it is: a test mule. It’s doesn’t look any slacker than a normal one to me. Thought they’d be using anglesets to get really slack? ETA: hmm, rear wheel on the shand is jacked up so may well be that slack!
Doesn’t Cy say somewhere that top tube length is limited by the manufacturer, so only way to go longer would be the 29er rear (or am I misunderstanding things?).
IIRC the normal rear is alu as it is, so why not try carbon. Also so he could Boost it seems. Doesn’t sound like Cy was convinced much by carbon anyhows… Probably cost prohibitive also.
Nice to finally see a UK manufactured Rocket after all (albeit a one off).
