My Pool Hoose has been entered into the ‘Shed of the Year competition,

I know a proper shed has to have somewhere to keep a lawnmower and pegs to hang tools from.

    Geez a vote.

Mr Overshoot, we have other sheds which are more conventional, this was an experiment. When it started we had no real idea where it would end up. It’s still a work in progress. Plans are afoot for a cantilevered walkway to join the fron and rear decks.

I’m liking the colour of yours.

    Here’s another salvaged special.

That is the strangest thing, roof joists that are longer than the roof, some sort of decking at the front, but no obvious way of getting onto it. Why is it on stilts? That is mad, I’m thinking everything, even the pool table, is deliberately weirdly eccentric to win the comp?
Anyway, good luck, you got my vote. I’m presuming you had a bit of a giggle building it.

Yes, yes, there are many contradictions in the build, but then I’m not a builder. Perhaps I could get a job as a consultant for the Edinburgh tram project.

I got an email from Endemol last week asking if I’d want to appear on a shed builders panel tv game show. Nae chance!

Hi Peter, I’m working on a new ITV1 Saturday night comedy panel show and we are looking for fun, shed-owning couples to take part in the show. I was wondering if you are in a relationship and if you would be interested in applying. Successful couples get paid for their time……

Here’s the email. Best tell the squirrels to cover their eyes.

Al, I considered it for a nanosecond then remembered I’m off to the States for 4 months. Do you want to masquerade as me and go on it?

For some reason McMoonter’s shed reminds me of something from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

(wanders off to see if he can find an image)…
