    Cash for amendements?

On top of the Hain ruling earlier in the week, this is beginning to look as murky and bad as the last days of the Major administration, isn’t it?

Eh ? I thought that you had lost all interest in sleaze Captain when you missed this story last week :

Boris Johnson says it was right for taxpayers to fund his Tory conference hotel bill

Obviously you knew about it, as the article comes from your daily paper.

Care to delve in to the expenses accounts of Mr Livingstone, Ernie? Taxi bills, perhaps?

I don’t mind. But why don’t you want to talk about the guy who is mayor of London now ?

A few years ago Caroline Splelman said “the issue of Tory sleaze had ‘dropped’ from voters’ concerns”

so no one’s interested in Tory sleaze – OK?

oh, hang on a minute ………..

Splelman? – where else have I heard that name?
