Got a old raspberry pi and would like to set it up as a Kodi player or what ever they call the streaming stuff.

Any links or step by step advice would be welcomed.

    Stick OpenELEC on it:

Then you can follow the guides for the other streaming sites and stuff to get them installed.

I was using OpenELEC for a while, and it did all I wanted for a year or so, but then seemed to stop working and I’d not really played around with it and ended up installing OSMC instead.

OSMC has easy installation process, download the installer (Windows/OSX/Linux) and it installs OSMC + Kodi to SD card for you after a few prompts.

Did OPENELEC not stop supporting either before or after a certain hardware revision? Or am I thinking of something else? Or just making shit up?

    I’ve lost track, I’m still on a Model B v1.0…
