About time that I pulled my finger out and gave my RC40 XCAMs a full service. I’ve got the manuals, but has anyone got any hints or tips? Any gotchas I should watch out for? 7.5wt oil sound about right?

I used 7.5 weight oil. Main issue I had was getting the launch control right when putting everything back together – I can’t remember the issue now but it’s possible to get an airlock which mucks up the launch control. You also have to be careful not to lose the ball beartings from the launch control knob.
I ended up sending them to Fork English for a proper service 🙄

Not heard of Fork English before. Now I’ve found his details, and it sounds more complex than I thought, I may just pack up the forks and get him to do it. Cheers.
