Just got some new forks for my Alloy Santa Cruz Nomad Mk 2 which has a 1.5″ headtube. As I’m currently running a reducer I need to install a new headset and would like a semi-integrated/zero-stack headset but so far drawn a blank in 1.5″ size.

Anyone got any suggestions as to what would fit?

    Cheers

I take it you are running a fork with a tapered steerer?

If so you can only have the top cup zero stack. For a tapered steerer you need a top cup to this spec ZS49/28.6 and a bottom cup like this EC49/40.

Has found here on the Hope site http://cdn.hopetechnology.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/HOPE-HEADSET-FITTING-CHART.pdf

    Thanks both.

The new forks have a straight 1.5″ steerer, not tapered.

Any thoughts on appropriate headsets for that combination?

1.5″ straight is a bit of a rare beast these days…

The hope guide gives you one option but not zero stack, is the stack height for the geo not designed around a headset with an amount of stack on it?
Going by the pics on the hope site the headset needs stack as you can’t fit a sensible size bearing in the head tube with the steerer.
