I have a frame to sell, most likely on eBay (it's an Ellsworth Moment MK1). Would people reckon it best to sell it now, auction ending on Sunday evening, or wait until the new year?

New year I reckon.

I've managed to get some great bargains in the weeks before Xmas the last two years, so I've come to the conclusion that it's not a good time to sell.

I would have thought nobody had any money this close to Chrimbo…

Ebay is always quiet this time of year for personal large value items as people have better things to spend their money on.

I always wait until everyone has been paid in January, as thats when i seem to see prices pick up.

I agree – just sold an Anthem Advanced on ebay, had to relist once, but was told ebay goes mad for these. One went buy it now for £999 in summer.
So yes, wait for everyone to start new year bike projects in early spring.
