I’m following the guides on TFTuned and SRAM and both mention springs and ball bearings under the u-turn cap.

I’ve taken mine off and there are 3 ball bearings but no spring’s.

Am I missing something or is there no spring on the 100-140mm sektor coil u-turn forks?

Little springs down a hole? The ball bearings sit on top of them? Never taken the top off my Sektor, but all the other RS U-Turns I’ve stripped down have been the same.

Ah I didn’t take the BB’s out yet because I need a 24mm socket. Bloody expensive I might add this changing springs lark!

I’ve done it loads of times with just an adjustable. No problems whatsoever.

+1 bacho adjustable.

All done now, borrowed a socket wrench.

Forks feel great with the firm spring installed.
