    I’ve a ‘lifting-eye’ in my shed that is set in the ground underneath the floor and I’m looking for strong secure means of securing a bike to said ‘eye’ by threading a chain or cable through it and padlocking..Any sugestions for lock and chain

    Almax for the chain. links need to be 16 – 18mm case hardened to be bolt cropper proof. Padlocks to be double locking closed shackle. Cables are pretty much a waste of time IMO

    Expect to spend £100+ to get something worth while
