What’s the second hand market like for turbos – is ebay a good place to look? I fancy one for the winter but never used one so don’t really know what to look for. Do they wear out at all, or do they pretty much work reliably for a long time?
If anyone could throw out some solid recommendations for a beginner that would be great.

Also, can you put the fixed gear on one? Was wondering if the bolt through axle would be compatible.

I’ve got one sitting in the garage you could have it but cost to post might be quite high due to weight. The variable resistance adjuster is a bit ropey and you do need a specific tacx qr to fit into the holders.
