I've got a SC Blur 4X. It appears to have some sort of burr on the inside of the seat-tube which is restricting the ability to drop the seatpost easily. I dont think it has always been there, as I have only just noticed it getting worse over the past few rides. Does anyone know where I can go or what I can use to get the seat-tube rimmed / de-burred? I live in Preston, Lancs and dont really want to post the frame anywhere.

    Many Thanks

I hear there are establishments which specialise in that sort of endeavour.

I think (hope)you mean reaming. If you go to an engineering shop looking for rimming you might get quite a shock. You could try a flap wheel sander on a drill if its not too bad,

    ahhhemm.

On a serious note…. Can you use a curved long file to just burr off the edges down the tube or is it out of reach? 🙂
