    Anyone got an Alptitude and if so does yours take the 27.2 seatpost that it is meant to?

    I have an Altitude, not an Alpitude, but it takes the 27.2 post it is meant to.

    I did have to get the tube reamed first though, there was a bit of flash internally on the weld between the seat tube and the top tube, but this is common on steel frames so something I expected to have to get done when I took delivery of the frame.

    I have an Alpitude,picked it up last week.The seat post has a shim,not sure what size it is.

    Sorry that should read the seat post is 27.2 but not sure what size the shim is.
