Any recommendations for pubs with accommodation or B+Bs near to pubs that are within a mile (pref less) of the SDW between Lewes and Amberley. A half decent bed and a very decent pint are the priorities.

For starters the SDW doesn't go through Lewes, though I accept it is pretty close but not within a mile.
There have been some recommendations on here for a B&B pub in Steyning, which is pretty close to the route - maybe try a search?

Cheers. I mentioned Lewes because that is where we are getting the train to for our start. (We are walking, sorry!)

Cool, Steyning probably about right then, have a google and see what you find. Think it was a pub with B&B if that makes sense.
