    Hi,

I have just got myself a Scott Spark 720, and want to buy a chainstay protector before it arrives. Does anyone have nay ideas which will fit nicely. I’d prefer a rubber to neoprene, just cant seem to find a scott branded one thats for this model.

    thanks in advance

It will likely come with a molded chainstay protector. Covers top and upper inside, not bottom or lower outer. Fastens with 2 zip ties.
Self adhesive velcro for places you want extra protection although I’ve never felt the need to add any to my sparks or genius’. Just one of the included sticky patches where the zip ties touch the chainstay and g2g.

If its running a clutch mech I don’t think you will need more than it comes with.

That’s my experience with the same bike for the last year.

My 920 runs the standard protector and a clutch mech. With a double ring setup I got a little bit of noise when small-small but a single ring is pretty silent on all but the roughest steps.
