Nope, that fact he wants £275 makes it dodgy… 🙄

    Fodgy as duck.

Behind on the rent? Oh, FFS. If it was real, you know the value of the bike. If you were really behind on the rent, you’d sell it for a little under the second hand value to help you pay the rent.

As it is, it’s clearly stolen.

He also says its full Ultegra whilst it’s clearly all SRAM…

One of the first pics if you search Google for Scott CR1 Pro and it clearly doesn’t have Ultegra. Also who advertises a used bike for £274.99 wanting cash?

Blatantly nicked, I have just reported the add to gumtree as being fraudulent.

What’s that on the front brake, some sort of homebodge cable adjuster ?

Stem looks replaced too – looks like somebody actually rode it lots 🙁

That’s not the bike, he just nicked the picture from the web…

Nowt wrong with the front brake, just the normal barrel adjuster.

Ah, I see 😳 – isn’t gumtree a cash on collection sort of thing though. What’ll he do, mug the buyer ?

(oh, and, what’s that on the front brake ?)

    The barrel adjuster

    😀
(I had a look at SRAM brakes on google – the pic above is weird as it looks like there’s a tall tower extending from where the cable’s anchored but it’s just artefact*)

*and that concludes the cae for the defence, your honour
