    Hi guys
    Looking for a new set of rubber but what dictates the size of tyre and tread pattern to go for. Mainly ride on rough natural trails and fire roads with the odd blast at the trail centres

    ~2.2 will do most things nicely.

    Tread? Depends on what you like, and what you want out of a tyre.

    All a balance of speed/weight/grip/strength/price.
