    Love a tyre thread.

    So, want a quick tyre that is fairly cut resistant so for me it’s a toss up between the above.

    Currently run the RR SS 2.25 but after a spirited effort around Gisburn there is a healthy cut down to (although not through) the carcass, hence debating maybe a change to the Conti.

    It’ll be used on the race bike as a rear, at about 25/27psi in Stans tubleless form.

    Having destroyed a race king in one ride,I’d never buy one again..Weren’t up to much either TBH,much prefer Ralphs

    Yeah, I did slash open a none protection Race King but thought maybe if it had the reinforcement it’d be heaps better, do think I’m edging towards another RR mind

    My experience with the Race King was death-by-puncture. But I don’t rate the Racing Ralph either. Haven’t punctured a Specialized Storm Control in the Lakes yet and it’s fast rolling and cheap to boot.

    If you intend to go tubeless, then I’d give Conti a miss.
