    anyone got any first hand experience of Schwalbe Fat Albert 2.4 EVOLUTION tyres??

    Brill tyre here in the lakes, I am using the ust one though. I think the love hate thing comes from having a pressure sweet spot, outside of that they're not great. I run them 25-30psi and they're brilliant on rock wet or dry(the front is especially good). They roll really well for a large tyre, I've raced on mine and not felt they where holding me back 😉 they're durable too I got a year out of my last set riding 2-3 times a week in the lakes.

    Good tyre. Large volume and as anc says they roll pretty well. The snakeskin version is pretty tough. I've ridden them in the Alps with no issues. Not a bad all round tyre.
