Anybody or owned either of these. Looking for fast and light 29er for xc duties.
Like the look also of Ragley TD-1, but can't afford the Ti version anybody know when the steel or aluminium version is coming?

Scandal 29er or Swift 29er or Ragley TD1

I've just built up a rigid Scandal. Very impressed. Way cheaper than the other two you mentioned

Well the Swift is not light but i certainly enjoyed riding mine on general xc duties, very comfortable and predictable.
Can't comment on the other 2 as never tried em.

I thought 29ers were shite until I rode a Swift. It's a great bike.
Where do you live? A test ride or two might make your mind up.

I've been doing research on the TD-1 recently and managed to contact several owners. Feedback is that it's fast - faster in singletrack than the Scandal. There's a review coming out in next issue of WMB apparently.

The way things are running with projects I have open, I'd be amazed if it was before, say, February.
