Had a couple of rides on mine now – 1.8" tyres and rigid forks.
What a blast – it makes you want to push the pace all the time – which is why I bought it. Trying to get fitter and I found I was having to concentrate on trying hard on the 26" hardtail. The Scandal doesn't seem to like pootling.

just about to re buy a 2nd one 26er thoug with a ox fork we'll sort a ride see if i can get anywhere near to keeping up

Not sure yet whether to sell the Life and Revs – looking sad now they've donated all their bits to the new kid on the block.
