Not sure if ‘what’s it worth’ posts are allowed here so I apologies if there not.

    but . .

I have a SC Superlight frame with Fox Float R rear shock and FSA Headset. It’s the old model with straight top tube, I would guess around 2000/2001. It’s in gunmetal grey and in near mint condition, only ridden about 6 times from new !

Any idea how much it would be worth ?

    Cheers

The second one was a steal but the pics made it look like it had been left in the yard for a couple of years.

My first Superlight frame was a 2000 model annodised blue variant.

I’d say £200 is far too low for the quality (and original cost) of such a beast.

However, what you’d get for it in todays rubbish market is another thing. 🙁

It’s a medium Ed2001, 18″ from top of seat post to centre of BB

Cheers for the advice lads, I’ll get some pics done and stick up for sale and see how it goes

That would make it £115 ! I would sooner melt it down and make a nice ashtray out of it than sell it for that 🙂

It’s in the sales section now anyway, not in a mad rush to sell it but put a price of £350 posted ono and will see how it goes

Thanks for all the advice gents 😉

The quality and original price aren’t really relevant though, which is a shame. I’d never sell something like that unless maybe it was the wrong size and so no use to me. I’d keep it and maybe rebuild it one day. I might sell to a mate, but I’d see it as a favour to him.

I’d think you’d struggle to get more than £300.

In contrast, I recently sold two items of camera gear on eBay. They were both about 18 months to 2 years old. They were £198 new, available in UK shops now for about the same. I got £284! Madness
