    Our beginner ride intersected part of their course today
    1) doing Garburn from Kentmere to Troutbeck is a poor choice IMO
    2) at the junction above Limefitt, the riders were being sent down the (easy) slope to the caravan park and UP the unrideable track from The Howe, when it would have been far more sensible to go the other way, and fully rideable…

    2) may have been chosen to make the marshalling easier by avoiding a crossover in the route…
