Am hoping to do this in July this year. Was hoping for some advice on travel, accomodation etc so I can get planning things. Not sure if summer flights into Salzburg are particularly cheap or plentiful, but maybe wrong

Nice one Paul, enjoyed reading your blog about the event. Did you drive it last year ? We (me and the mate who are planning to go) had initially discussed a road trip. But had decided that the distance involved in the driving made it a non starter, but your write suggests its quite do-able in a car from the UK

Yeah its definately do able as a road bike… about 10 hours straight driving from Calais.

Was a great race and wish i could go back this year… look at extending trip and going to watch tour in France.
