    looks like chef was right.

    BUT

I don’t get the salty sweet stuff. Just had salted chocolate, which would have been nice apart from the salt. So have I an unsophisticated palate or is it just weird?

Lindt salted caramel 70% chocolate. Possibly the best thing ever

Green & Blacks do a wasabi chocolate. That’s really confusing.

okay…nothing to write home about given a choice of chocolate or salted choco it would be plain old chocolate “why waste the experience on something your not fond of” like voting conservative 8)

I quite like it, but I avoid it because I heard that the combination of salt and sweet is addictive!

I trust you avoid all foods that this balance is applied to as well? Thai would be a good one to avoid with all that salty fish sauce and palm sugar.

Salt with chocolate is great. It’s why crisps and chocolate go so well together, and both of them with a rough bourbon is even better! Also loving the rash of salted caramel ice creams and the like. Top stuff.

Had Salted Caramel Icecream whilst in ‘Tintagel’ the other week it was lush!,
Also had Chilli chocolate too which is ok but not as nice as the above.
