Oh - ouch
I agree that set-up is not great - wanted to build it up into a winter/aduax/commuter all rounder - the stem and saddle suck!

Not seen the Ti version but a standard one was built up in my LBS and was very nice.
I have a Fargo and a Big Mama and can't recommend Salsa enough, great bikes. I imported one and my LBS ordered me the other at very competitive price.

Thought about one, but the VN Amazon is so similar for a lot less money - even factoring in another set of forks.
