Anybody run an el mar SS with the seat post clamp for attaching the carrying rack? Do you have to use a specific salsa rack? Is there sufficient room for panniers?

househusband might be along in a minute but he has fitted a non-Salsa rack using the seatpost clamp and a couple of spacers, with longer bolts, at the drop-out pivot point.
