No but I’ve just had a look on the Salsa website and it looks really, really fekken nice

There’s been a very nice frame sitting on my LBS wall for the last few months tempting me. Problem is, I can’t really see what it’s for. It’s a fairly hefty disk only frame, but with no mudguard eyelets. Doesn’t really tick all the boxes for most people for summer or winter. Looks lush though.

Good bike for those that don’t mind a bit of extra weight and want their brakes to work.

Comfy position, comfy frame, will last forever.

It really is pretty. It’s just sad that they can’t build steel frames as light as they used to. The Salsa Primero was a fantastic bike. Similar ilk, but not much heavier than the aluminium/carbon equivalent. I guess it’s down to CEN and cost vs volume.

why build a rando/audax type bike with no guard mounts….seems odd to me.
my son bought a charge plug, which has discs, guard mounts, is steel, and is a fair old wack cheaper, and not much heavier.

Yes – BB86 this year, BB90 last year…

Maybe next year will be BB386 then…
