These are good, fit a small sleeping bag in or a tarp.

I use these, not had any issues with them and you can get spare’s.

Anyone got experience of the Monkii cage fitted under a downtube with a 1 litre bottle? Secure off road, durable? Max load is 1.5kg but maybe that’s on top of the tube. Could be a good fuel bottle cage, bike buddy looks good too but may prefer the lighter, plastic Monkii. Ta.

I’ve used the Monkii cages. Off road I would say that 1.5kg is optimistic. I’ve had 750ml bottles bounce the entire cage off the bracket. I’m not a big hit sort of rider, this happened on juddery small bump type of ground. Included the loss of my Wallace and Grommit bottle my kids bought me 🙁 didn’t notice until much later.

Used on the road they are fine and if your putting very light kit in the they are good. Just be aware of what you intend to use them for.

I reckon they would be spot on for that. Just be aware that the strap supplied (and stitched on) is ideal for water bottles but will struggle to accommodate anything much wider.
