I’m in the market for a new saddle for my commuter and a brooks Cambium C13 is on the list. However I’ve read that it’s got oval rails, which I know can be an issue with certain seatpost seat clamps.

I have a thomson post so anyone know if it’s okay with oval carbon rails?

You can buy a thomson oval rail kit.

Ah just read the details for the Thomson Oversize Rail Clamp on crc, says normal rail clamps work fine but if you use a layback post, which I don’t, you may need the oversize kit to get the nose down.

    Cheers.

The issue is if the seatpost clamps side to side rather than top to bottom on the saddle rails.
    A Thomson should be fine.
