What about the bike packing style ones? Wilddcat and Alpkit do them.
Ortlieb also do a big saddle bag. Not used it but everything I’ve had of theirs has been good.

The clickfix system loads of handlebar bags use is great. Put a bracket for that on your seatpost and the adapter in any sort of bag and you would have a great system.

    Oh look they’ve done it.
Rixen Kaul Website, loads of options on here.

Bridge Street bags are superb. Simple, well made, quiet, low profile. I weren’t for a medium but tbh a large would be better for anything over a night away. I partnered mine with a small frame bag for a two nighter, but have just added a bar bag too which should be enough for my 4 day summer tour – stopping in b&b (as opposed to camping!)

Just out of interest, why not Carradice? Wrong colour rose? 🙂

I went for a Carradice zipped roll flat cap and use it on the handlebars ,for when i am out for a couple of hours gentle minder rather than an all day epic gravity AM blast.(i have no idea what a all day gravity AM blast is by the way) Water bottle on a cage and tools up front keeps 3 kilo off my dropper and back wheel and ride a little tighter.

Ton, no, but I don’t read them every day. Will get right onto them.

used them for years, firstly a camper long flap, bought for my 17th birthday, given to a mate 24 years later. then a nelson, which was nicked with a bike, then a sqr tour…..which was a bit rubbish quality wise, it went grey after 2 years, so i got another and sold it pretty soon.

    fancy a change.

Fair enough. Only asking because my SQR Tour has been perfect for four years of daily commuting and I thought it would have be great for light touring.

Hey ho, be interesting to see what you end up with. Have fun touring!
