Hi, Is this better tackled clockwise or anti-clockwise. I have a GPS of the route but it does not suggest which way round.

Is it a good route??

its a good route, lots of typical clwyd riding

but tbh i’d start at the car park at the base of the clwyd forest ride it anti-clockwise and when you get to Bryn Celyn just ride south on the byway, then through Pentre , then left on to the climb pass Bathafarn Farm

just to avoid the utterly pointless road journey into Ruthin

you finish the ride desending Fron Hen and its only a short cycle back to the car park
